Rounds, staggered closes and the relist rules

A lot runs as a timed auction or a sealed tender, and a batch's closes are staggered so forty vehicles do not end in the same minute and split the same bidders. Where you ask for earnest money, a bidder bids once you have confirmed theirs.

Bidding soft closes: a bid in the last moments extends the clock, so a lot is won by the better price rather than the faster thumb. Every bid lands on a record nobody can edit afterwards.

An unsold round relists itself by rules you set in advance: wait, drop by a step, never below a floor, never above a cap. A relist prints its prior rounds on the lot, so a returning bidder can see the price coming down honestly instead of guessing at a history that was quietly erased.
