The reserve, committed before the round and revealed at the close
Your reserve is fixed before bidding opens and locked to the record as a hash: a short fingerprint that proves the number existed without showing it. Nobody can see it while the round runs, and nobody can change it afterwards, us included.
At the close the reserve itself is revealed on the signed receipt, and anyone can check it against the fingerprint taken before the round. That single step answers the oldest accusation in disposal, which is that a reserve moved to suit the result.
It protects you as much as the bidder. A borrower disputing the price, an internal auditor, or a court asking why a vehicle went at that figure all get the same arithmetic, and none of it depends on trusting Truckaurbus.
