Insurance: what is here, and what is not yet

The on-road figure for a new vehicle includes the first year's insurance as a base premium from the state's own rules, so the number you compare is the number you will actually be quoted around. That is what exists today.

On a priced vehicle's page, Insure this vehicle sends a request for insurance quotes, and the insurer that takes it calls you with its own quote; Truckaurbus does not sell insurance or set the premium. What does not exist yet is the rest of an insurance desk: renewals, and the claim from intimation to settlement.

Until it opens, the fleet desk still tracks each vehicle's insurance date and warns you before it lapses, which is the part that actually costs money when it is missed.
