Electric, and the tax that changes the arithmetic

An electric commercial vehicle carries GST at five percent where a diesel one carries twenty eight, and many states waive road tax and registration on top of that. On a vehicle costing several lakh, those two lines move the monthly figure more than a point of interest does.

So compare on the road, not on the showroom price. The on-road figure for your state already carries the waivers where the state publishes them, and the EMI recalculates from there.

The loan itself is still the lender's call, and lenders price an electric vehicle on their own view of its resale. The file shows the numbers; it does not argue the case for you.
