How long we keep things

Account data lives as long as your account does. A listing lives while it is live, and after a sale the record of it stays where the law asks. Ustad conversations are kept for twelve months, analytics for fourteen, and crash reports for ninety days.

Nazar positions are kept in full for 180 days on the Nazar server. After that only the trips, the distances and the day anchors remain, which are hashes of the day's record from which the positions cannot be read back. A fleet's owner can delete the whole record at once from the Settings room without asking anyone.

A settled auction's receipt stays in the register because the law requires it. That is the one place where erasing everything is not on offer, and the reason is written on the page rather than buried.
