What a vehicle's sheet holds, and the last verified line

A sheet is the vehicle as its maker publishes it: weights, engine, driveline, cabin, body options, tyres and seats counted without the driver. Every value on it has to appear on the maker's own published page word for word, and a person reviews the sheet before it goes live.

The last verified line at the foot is the honest part. It says when a person last put the sheet beside the maker's page, and where that page was. A sheet we have not been able to check yet says spec sheet pending rather than showing figures we cannot stand behind.

Sheets are checked again as makers revise their pages, which they do quietly and often. If a value on a sheet does not match what you are being shown at a dealership, report it from the page; a person checks the trail and answers, and an accepted correction is locked.
