When the record shows another name, or a stopped RC
If the name on the RC is not your verified name, the listing stays up, and buyers read: The RC is not in the seller's name. Ask the seller why before you pay. You have 7 days to pick what is true, for example that it is your family's name and they agree; if nothing is picked, the listing comes down, and you can pick and publish again.
If the government's record shows the RC as cancelled, suspended, surrendered, scrapped, blacklisted or not to be transacted, the vehicle cannot be transferred, so it cannot be listed. If you believe the record is wrong, write to support and we look again; only our operations team can lift such a stop, in writing.
For a buyer, either line is a reason to slow down and ask, not a verdict on the seller.
