If an auction stops because of a fault
If our service or a provider's fails during an auction, we may pause it, extend its close, restart the round or cancel it, and we tell every bidder and the seller. While a round is paused no bid is taken and the clock stands still.
Bids in our record before the failure stand unless we cancel the round. A bid that did not reach us is not a bid. A cancelled round carries no fee and no strike, and no sale exists until the seller accepts a bid.
An EMD paid for a cancelled round comes back from the institution you paid it to. The rule is clause 2.6 of the bidding agreement.
