Start from the work, not the truck

A buyer arrives with a load, a route and a permit, not a body type. Each work page names what that work asks of a vehicle before any brand is mentioned: the operating envelope. Sand and aggregates, cement and building material, construction sites, containers and ports, parcels and FMCG, cold chain, last mile, farm produce, gas cylinders, fuel, school and staff buses.

Under the envelope the register shows the vehicles that answer it, closest fits first: the right body, then the axles the work prefers, then priced rows before unpriced ones. The count beside each work is the register's own and carries the date it was counted.

It is the opposite way round from the usual search, and it is the way most first purchases are actually decided. If your work is not listed, open a job card and say what you carry; the desk answers and the list grows.
